How to Choose the Right Vial Label Size
Label sizing depends entirely on your vial. The ideal label fits flat on the straight section of the bottle body, staying clear of curved shoulders, base and cap edges. This avoids wrinkling and delivers a neat finished look.
Start by measuring the vertical label height. Leave small gaps top and bottom to prevent creases on curved bottle sections.
Then confirm the label width.
Go for full-wrap labels if you have lots of content to print—product specs, batch codes, storage instructions, QR codes and mandatory text all fit well. This style covers nearly the whole bottle circumference.
Partial-wrap labels create a minimalist aesthetic, only covering the front portion of the vial with exposed glass left visible. It’s widely used for serum vials, skincare containers and simple brand layouts.
To get your bottle circumference: wrap a soft tape around the straight body. A paper strip works too—mark the overlap, then lay it flat to measure the length. We rely on this number to match your ideal wrap width.
